Overview

Yes FreeTool is designed to process supported tool inputs locally in your browser. Individual tool pages describe their workflow and limitations. Contact forms, analytics, security checks, advertising, and externally loaded libraries can make separate network requests, but they are not intended to receive files selected for local tools.

Data collection

We do not receive the contents of files processed locally. When you visit the site, analytics, advertising, consent, security, and form services may receive limited technical or submitted data as described here.

Local storage

Browser storage and service-worker cache may store preferences and offline assets. Tool inputs may exist temporarily in tab memory while processing, but the application does not intentionally save selected file contents to persistent browser storage.

Cookies

Essential site storage supports preferences, caching, and security checks. Google services may set or read cookies for analytics, fraud prevention, consent, and advertising where permitted.

Third parties

We use Google Analytics for traffic measurement, Google AdSense for advertising, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms from abuse. Contact and newsletter submissions are sent to our server endpoint for delivery.
